HASSAN GALLAYDH
Hassan Gallaydh is a veteran journalist and media leader with over 15 years of experience across broadcast, international, and digital journalism. He began his career at Horn Cable TV, one of the most established broadcasters in the Somali media landscape, where he progressed from correspondent and reporter to Head of News. He has also worked as a freelance contributor for BBC Somali, gaining exposure to global editorial standards that continue to shape his approach to accuracy, balance, and ethical reporting.
In 2020, driven by a commitment to editorial independence and public-interest journalism, Hassan Gallaydh founded Gallaydh Media to create a platform free from political and commercial influence. His work is recognized for its fairness, courage, and focus on accountability, as well as for amplifying underrepresented voices and challenging misinformation. Through gallaydh.com, he continues to advance journalism rooted in integrity, context, and service to the public.
